SPECIAL NEEDS TRUSTS

Family Legal Center, LLC should be your first stop

when trying to find out information on Special Needs Trusts.  Attorney Laura Cohen regularly advises clients on Special Needs Trusts when they are working on their estate plan and have an adult child that is receiving means tested government benfits.  Despite popular belief, you can leave an inheritance to your special needs child and not have it affect the government benefits that they are receiving.

Additionally, if disabled person collecting means tested government benefits has a case settlement coming to them a Special Needs Trust can protect money for the supplemental needs of that person without having an affect on their benefits.

Contact Family Legal Center, LLC today to schedule and appointment to speak with Attorney Cohen to see if this is a viable option for the benefit of your disabled child.
