Some Pennsylvania couples appear to share a fairy tale kind of life and love. Unfortunately, some fairy tale marriages end up facing difficult and complicated negotiations for divorce, child support, custody, spousal support and property division. One couple shared such a romantic fairy tale type of love that it became a popular movie, but their marriage may be struggling.

Tragically, the couple experienced a serious car accident shortly after they were married. The wife was in a coma due to a serious brain injury for 21 days. When she woke up, she could not remember her husband or any of the life they shared together. Over time, the wife grew to love her husband again, both claiming to take their original wedding vows seriously. Two years after their marriage, the couple renewed their vows in honor of their continued love despite the wife’s memory loss.

The story was used to write and film a Hollywood movie called “The Vow” starring Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams. The couple whom the movie was based on seemed to have a fairytale romance, but recent reports have indicated that they have separated. According to the wife, she discovered that her husband had been unfaithful. The couple currently lives separately, and both children have chosen a parent with whom to live.
