Reality television shows have been popular for many years now. Shows such as the “Real Housewives of Orange County” are often full of drama, making it interesting for viewers in Pennsylvania and across the country. Because it is a show that loosely follows the real life of several different women, it often showcases the real-life heartache and triumphs for some of the show’s participants. For Shannon Beador, it has highlighted her heartbreaking divorce. She and her husband are currently negotiating their child custody agreement.
Shannon and David Beador have been married for 17 years. Shannon filed for divorce last year and requested primary physical and legal custody of the couple’s three girls. The couple has a 16-year-old daughter and two twin daughters who are 13 years old.
David has recently challenged Shannon’s child custody request. He has accused Shannon of not fostering a relationship with his daughters because two of his daughters have refused to talk with him since the couple’s separation. In addition, he asserts that Shannon’s role on the television show involves travel and alcohol consumption, but he has not been notified of his daughter’s accommodations during travel. David has also challenged her request for him to pay for her lawyer fees with documentation that she may actually make more income this year.
Divorce is not an easy process. A child custody agreement is just one level of the complex process that couples must negotiate or be determined by a family court. The right Pennsylvania family law attorney will advocate and negotiate for a client’s wishes throughout the process.
