High asset divorce: Is a divorce party right for you?

On Behalf of | Feb 8, 2018 | High Asset Divorce |

After spending any amount of time being married, it is understandable the heartache that a pending divorce may foster. Pennsylvania couples who are processing a high asset divorce may be interested to learn about a new trend following a divorce. Apparently, many people are finding ways to commemorate the finalization of their divorce in creative ways.

One woman recently made headlines when pictures began to circulate of her divorce party. On the day her divorce finalized, multiple friends arrived at her house with drinks and wearing their wedding dresses. Although her day began in a difficult manner, it ended with the love and support of her friends.

Another couple threw a joint party on their former anniversary to assist their family and friends with the transition of accepting them as separate people. As with getting married, some divorcees are now registering for household items so that friends and families can help them establish a life on their own without their former spouse. For others who may not feel like a party is the correct way to celebrate the end of a marriage, a trip may be a good healing method for an individual after a divorce.

Amicable endings and divorce parties suggest that it is beneficial to be surrounded by supporters in the difficult time. If an amicable end to a high asset divorce is desired, a family law attorney in Pennsylvania can help advise a spouse of the best strategy to approach divorce agreements. Although every aspect of a divorce may not be agreed on, a more peaceful end may be acquired with some effort.
