High asset divorce: Shannon Beador in heated negotiations

On Behalf of | Jan 18, 2018 | High Asset Divorce |

When Pennsylvania brides are walking down the aisle toward their spouse, many claim it is the happiest day of their life. Most do not anticipate in that moment of happiness that the marriage could later come to an end. When a marriage is over, there are multiple issues that must be resolved between a couple such as property division, finances, child support and custody. The agreements in a high asset divorce can be particularly difficult, but family law attorneys are accustomed to handling difficult negotiations. A “Real Housewives of Orange County” star is going through her own difficult divorce from her husband.

The 54-year-old woman, Shannon Beador, is known for her appearances on multiple seasons of the RHOC reality television show. She and her husband David Beador had been married for more than 15 years when he confessed to an affair. To make the betrayal worse, the affair was with a family friend who was married herself.

The couple’s spousal support hearing is rapidly approaching. It is unknown how much Shannon is seeking for support, but it has been made public that she has requested $25,000 in attorney fees and has requested that David be responsible to pay college tuition for all three of their teenage daughters. Reportedly, a request has been filed with a judge for David to formally submit his income because she does not believe he has disclosed his entire net worth.

A high asset divorce such as the one in this article could involve multiple hearings before all material issues are resolved. The right Pennsylvania family law attorney can advise the best approach and offer ongoing support. Because the need for a family law attorney may extend the entry of the final judgment of divorce, the attorney can continue advocate for a client’s needs as life circumstance necessitate changes to an existing court order.
