In divorce, neither the parents nor the children 'win'

Divorce can bring out the worst in people. From legal battles to trying to "one-up" each other with the kids, it can be difficult to learn that there really are no "winners" when it comes to divorce. Most divorcing couples who have children do want what is best for them; however, it is often hard to see what is best if their sight is always on who crosses the finish line first.

Can my child's other parent move out of state?

Child custody disputes don't just happen when a couple gets divorced. They can arise even after the divorce decree has been issued. One thing when dealing with child custody that is often contested is when one parent wants to relocate with the children. Can one parent simply move out of state when the other parent has a court order for visitation?
